For businesses of all sizes these days, a website is a must, but setup charges can be so high that, unless you have a large company, it becomes an impossibility.  As I specialize in working for small businesses, I can offer special prices that are affordable, whilst providing a professional service tailored to your specific needs.

To get a quote for setting up a site for you, I need to know the nature of your business, what you want to achieve from your website, as well as your preferred colour scheme and style - serious and sophisticated, or friendly and fun, for example. 

I work solely with Homestead (though I am not employed by them), so it would first be necessary for you to sign up for one of their sites.  This can be done quickly and easily at http://homestead.com.  They provide several different packages, starting at $4.99 a month, which gives you ten pages, surely within everyone's reach.  I then need to know the username and password you used to sign up, and I can start work on your site very quickly. 

You will supply me with any photographs you want included in the site, at a preferred width of 400 pixels. These can be converted into thumbnail pictures which open into enlargements at the click of the mouse, to save download times on your home page.  I will also need the text to accompany the photographs; this will be edited if necessary to ensure correct spelling and grammar.

The site I build for you can have a wide variety of features - chat window, guestbook, hit counter, "email me" button, mouseover navigation buttons, and more.  Please have a look at my own personal website to see just some of the page backgrounds and colours available.  You can choose from 29 different fonts, with text in a variety of colours and sizes. 

At all times, you will be in control of the appearance of your site.  I will submit two or three different pages and headings for your approval before starting work on the site itself.    As a rough guide, the setup fee for a 10 page site would be in the region of £100.
